Are US citizens allowed to enter Turkey?
Yes. Commercial flights are operating to Turkey from all countries except the following until further notice by the government.
Bangladesh, Brazil, South Africa, India, Nepal, and Sri Lanka.
Is the Covid test required for entry to Turkey?
Yes. A negative PCR test taken within 72 hours before arriving in Turkey is required if you are coming from UK, Iran, Egypt, or Singapore.
For all other countries, a negative PCR test is not mandatory. You may submit a document issued by the government that shows you have been vaccinated (at least 14 days before coming to Turkey) or have had the disease and cured in the last six months.
Is there a mandatory quarantine for all arriving in Turkey?
No. Only a negative PCR test taken within 72 hours before arriving in Turkey is required.
Is RT-PCR Test available at the Airport?
Yes. It is available at all major airports in Turkey.
Is an appointment needed for the test at the Airport?
No. There is no need for an appointment to visit the Airport’s testing center, as it is open 24 hours a day and seven days a week.
What is the cost of the RT-PCR Test at the Airports?
It is approximately 250TL or $30 at Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport, 170TL or $20 at Antalya International Airport and 260TL or $30 at Istanbul Airport.
Is the Covid test cost covered in your medical package cost?
No.

At Airport test points. You can make the payment through a credit card or cash.
Where to get the test results?
Test results are uploaded online in both English and Turkish language. The test center educates on how to access the report online after sample collection.
How is the Covid situation in Turkey?
Most states are Blue, Yellow and Orange. The Government of Turkey has divided provinces into a four-tier system based on their infection and vaccination rates: low infection (I) & high vaccination (V) (blue), medium I & medium V (yellow), high I & low V (orange), and very high I & very low V (red).
